This is Hilary Duff's new engagement ring. Freakin 14 carats radiant cut, reportedly 1 million dollars (not RMB). A lady on TPF actually said if the Hunchback of Notre Dame proposed with this ring she'd say yes. I hope she's joking.

When Jennifer Aniston was married to Brad Pitt, he designed her engagement ring and it looks something like this.

I won't say i really like it but i never really forgot what it looked like because it's so different from the blinding rocks other celebrities have.

Anyway, I needed a setting idea for a lose piece of diamond i have so this piece of memory came in useful. Of course i cannot afford as many diamond loops as Brad Pitt but i think it turned out perfect.

Crazy Celebrity: The one with Gisele

Not only is Gisele Bundchen crazy, i am also convinced that she is an alien.

I've always suspected that she's not from here. She has a perfect body that appeals to all men. Breasts, butt, long legs, gorgeous hair, flat tummy, pretty face... Too good to be human. Her physique points to the fact that she was meticulously engineered in outerspace.

Recently she gave birth to a baby boy via water birth, and she claims that it wasn't painful at all! Did u know that painless birth is an extraterrestrial power only aliens possess so they can multiply abundantly and take over earth?

I know what's coming next. In 2 weeks she'll be walking down the Victoria Secrets Runway in lacy lingerie looking all fabulous, like it all never happened. Damn u aliens!

The battle of the universe

I haven't been following the Miss Universe Pageant for eons. Upon logging on to MSN Today, the indonesian contestant caught my eye.

Miss Zivanna Letisha Siregar (what a mouthful). Weee wiiit... One thing i must say about my hometown is that it is filled with beautiful women. I think maybe it's the ex-dutch colony + plastic surgery + lotsa sitting on old money combination. I always feel like a sam-seng-kia at home. Very underdressed and under made-up, and that's even after trying. I'm so not gonna step foot in jakarta until i lose my baby weight.

Ok maybe the picture above didn't do her justice. Here's another. She's not THAT bad, very typical chinese beauty. Fair, long limbs (chinese are generally taller than singaporeans, especially the sichuanese), long hair, kinda sweet looking.

This morning Mountain Man came into the bathroom and told me the news... I felt sad instantly.

I feel so sorry that his final years were marred by so many unhappy incidents- the dangling baby, the child abuse/molestation, the weird behaviour.... But one thing about death is that it resolves all unforgiving feelings. Once again, the good side of a person gets remembered. I mean, why would u cast a stone on man who is already dead right?

Here's my top 10 fond memories of MJ...

1. My late father introduced me to the King of Pop. MJ was the first international singer i came across. I think he was easily the most famous person back then, anybody on the streets would know Michael Jackson.
2. When i was a kid, he made me realise tht the small people are capable of doing big things (this was when he was part of the Jackson 5).
3. I liked the Black or White video so much, especially the morphing part. I can watch it over and over again.
4. I've always admired how MJ was so caring to the world. Heal the World was my theme song for a while (but of course tht phase didn't last very long).
5. I like how he was such a nice brother to Janet Jackson.
6. I still groove to Billy Jean and Beat it.
7. He is the only person who doesn't look like a pervert when he grabs his crotch (u may disagree). Ow!
8. He carries off white socks and leather shoes.

it's 4th of January.... the first entry of 2009. I need to start off the year with something memorable. IE, it's gotta be a really good entry. so i cracked my head for a bit, what to write what to write... then it occurred to me that i could also be really bad and still be memorable. haha, pressures off, writing a bad entry is easy peasy lemon squeezy.

so, i watched this very bad movie (Hamlet 2) 2 nights ago. this dude introduced himself as Heywood, as in Heywood Jablomey. It took me almost half and hour to realize it wasn't an ordinary name. i have a feeling that 2009 is gonna be a slow year for my mental growth...

I made an interesting discovery today as well.

Did u know that Katie Holmes is Tom Cruises' "beard"? before u bang table and tell me it's old news, i have more for you. Katie was the 4th beard choice. Jennifer Garner, Jessica Alba, Scarlet Johanssen (in that order) were Tom's choices before he decided on Katie. The former 3 rejected or never made it to "audition". AND AND... Katie went "missing" for 16 days prior to the breaking news that she and tom were an item. No she didn't go missing cos she wanted to get a boob job or correct a deviated septum, but SPECULATIVELY she was at scientology camp getting brainwashed.

This begs the question...

How does brainwashing work anyway? Maybe Katie sat in a chair while Frankie Goes To Hollywoood's Relax plays in the background... if u don't know what i'm talking about u need to watch Zoolander (brainwashing videoclip attached, starts at 2nd minute, watch at ur own risk!)

Wall Street crashed to an all time low yesterday, but i'm glad it doesn't take much for me to laugh, smile, giggle...


Now this little princess over here is Suri Cruise, d.o. Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. She's the cutest thing in Hollywood now. And she's been named Forbes #1 most inflential child celebrity. (why would anyone come up with such boliao ranking right?)...


Anyway, there's this controversy going on. Suri lives in NYC and it's freaking cold over there now. But she walks around like this.. no jacket, while her parents and bodyguards are all wrapped up like bak zhang (chinese dumpling tht is wrapped in many layers of leaves).

Of course then there were a lot of criticisms flying around- some called Katie an irresponsible mother, Suri a spoilt brat, and even more ludicrous accusations of Suri being a robot. You know wht's weirder than scientology? it's people who think tht scietologists give birth to mechanical parts. Anyway, so finally, Suri starts sporting jackets. Cute ones like these...

Tom also tried to rectify the situation by stating in a recent interview that Suri is a total lady. She loves her dresses... Put her in jeans and she'll run off and come back in a dress. Well can't blame her for being one right, growing up in hollywood and all. so yesterday i saw this on Perez Hilton (bless him), the comment cracked me up super bad.

In case u can't see properly, it's Suri trying to take off her coat and the comment says "They (paps) need to see the dress, Dad!"

Did u know that julio iglesias has 9 kids? Oldest is 37, youngest 18 months. This little oggiewoggieboochie over here is his youngest- his name is Guillermo. With handsome genes like his, he's doing the world a favour by contributing to the handsome population in this world. Go Julio!

this is my favourite bag of all time...Holiest of my holy grails... The Fendi Vintage Croc Shopper.

Ashley Olsen made it a huge hit but the bag was no longer in produce... It was rumoured that Fendi will make a re-hit, but it'll cost a whopping USD 20K. I was devastated.

And then i was reading Purse Blog and saw that Fendi launched this. I hope it'll still be around when i lift my self-imposed purse ban. Maybe they'll launch the croc version next year! And boy am i relieved that it doesn't cost USD 20K.
